Our online workshops will provide attendees with a robust introduction on the theory and practice of CliftonStrengths, it’s underpinnings in positive psychology and career development and then dive deep into the practical application of Strengths into leadership and team development. Courses are free for GE partners and there is a $15 fee for non-partners.
CliftonStrengths is the foundation for every Global Experiences intern from New York City to Barcelona. All interns start with the CliftonStrengths online assessment, and then connect with a certified Gallup coach to discuss their results.
Interns practice using the Strengths vocabulary in their resumes, and in their interviews. Further reflection on-site is encouraged.
At GE headquarters we also use Strengths for self discovery, building stronger teams, and professional development. When you know yourself, and your Strengths, you can perform better at work and on teams.
People who use their Strengths at work every day are: 8% more productive and 6 times more likely to be engaged at work.

Andrew Parr is an Enrollment Manager for Global Experiences and GALLUP® Certified Strengths Coach. He advises potential interns on locations and career fields and works with university advisors.
He is also a certified grades 7-12 English and theatre educator and a trained International Baccalaureate and AP teacher. He also co-founded and led an exchange program with a school in Germany.

Kelly Holland is the Vice President for Institutional Partnerships for AIFS Abroad and a GALLUP® Certified Strengths Coach. In her role she works closely with university partners on strategy, outreach, and ensuring a successful experience for both intern and office. Kelly has an M.Ed. in Comparative & International Education, and a B.S. in International Business Management.
