Global Experiences Joins AIFS to
Expand International Internships for Students

On April 29, 2019 Global Experiences (GE) shared the news that the company has joined the American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) family of organizations. Founded in 1964, AIFS is one of the oldest and largest cultural exchange organizations in the world with offices in six countries. AIFS organizes cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 participants each year.

This month marks GE’s 18th year in business and we are excited to celebrate this landmark moment in our history. Global Experiences will retain its name, its location in Annapolis, Maryland, as well as its management and staff. Emily Merson will remain the CEO. The GE team you know and love will continue to provide the international internship programs that you have come to expect and trust.

Global Experiences is grateful for the continued partnerships with our colleges and universities around the world. We look forward to all the opportunities to expand and develop our offerings as part of the AIFS family of organizations and to working with their fantastic team. Our programs are a success because of your involvement and feedback, and we look forward to what the future holds for all of us!
